City-Strategy Approval

The aim of this task is to finalise the SIP and get formal approval for it. To make sure that approval is granted, key stakeholders and those responsible for approval must have been consulted on the basis of the draft SIP, and their opinions and concerns taken into account in changes to the draft.

The final draft SIP, the process leading to its development, and the strategic objectives that it contains, must be communicated at various levels and through various forums.

At this point, it may be useful to complete the Health Check Exercise. This questionnaire-style exercise is designed to highlight how well you’re progressing in embedding carbon management in your city.
