As well as ensuring that individual projects are being managed and are on track, the carbon reduction team needs to monitor the carbon reduction programme as a whole, to ensure that it is proceeding as planned. This could include regular review meetings with all those involved in implementing projects, annual (or more frequent) reporting to senior management to ensure the carbon reduction programme is meeting strategic objectives and monitoring spending.
