LCCP 5 step process

We have developed a 5 Step LCCP process.

 

 

This builds on insight from the Carbon Trust’s Public Sector Carbon Management programmes which have enabled 217 public sector bodies to develop Strategy and Implementation Plans with average 5 year CO2 reduction targets of 20%. This is also augmented by learning from the Energy Saving Trust’s Local Authority Key Account programme, which is currently engaging 20 local authorities and focuses on the Councils' ability to bring about carbon reduction through their services and activities e.g. housing, planning, their own vehicle fleet, as well as other more indirect means, such as a strategic approach and community leadership. The output is a prioritised carbon reduction action plan.
